The 3 Best Farmers Markets Near Woodbury and Valley Creek Apartments

  |     |   Local Events

St. Paul has a fantastic farmers market community, with 20 different locations hosting markets 6 out of the 7 days of the week. With so many options, these markets are a great way to support the local community and buy from local farmers and businesses.

Summer is in full swing, and markets are a great way to get outside. Nothing beats fresh, local produce from local farms.

To highlight these vendors and their businesses, we put together a list of the 3 best farmers markets near Woodbury.

Woodbury Farmers Market

8595 Central Park Pl, Woodbury

Sundays, June 6 – October 31, 8 am – 1 pm

Right here in Woodbury, we have the Woodbury Farmers Market. Bridging the gap between our residents and our local farmers, the market offers fresh produce, meats, dairy, eggs, flowers, baked goods, and many other products. Farm-to-table is one of the best ways to enjoy healthy, fresh meals sourced locally, so you can be sure to know where your food comes from when you buy from the Woodbury Farmers Market.

South St. Paul

12th Ave & Southview, South St Paul

Wednesdays, June 16 – September 29, 2 pm – 6 pm

To the southwest of Woodbury, the South St. Paul Farmers Market features homegrown produce, fruits, vegetables, and homemade bread and jams. There are also products such as candles, plants, dips, meats, oils, and sweets.

Downtown St. Paul

290 5th St E, St Paul

Saturdays, April 24-October 30, 7 am – 1 pm

Sundays, April 25 – October 31, 8 am – 1pm

Saturdays, November 6-20, 8am – 1pm

Sundays, November 7-21, 8am – 1pm

If you’d like to get out of the suburbs and spend some time downtown, the Downtown St. Paul Farmers Market is one of the biggest and is open on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Besides these three fantastic markets, there are 17 other locations throughout the St. Paul area. So if these dates don’t work for you, be sure to check out the other markets!
